CoolSculpting uses the fact that fat cells and other cells respond to cold and heat in different ways. In this case, the fat cells are destroyed through a process called cryolipolysis. During CoolSculpting, the fat cells are cooled down to 39 degrees Fahrenheit. At that temperature, crystals form in the cells and rupture them, though the other cells around them are not injured. The body then absorbs and excretes the damaged fat cells. During the treatment, the provider uses a vacuum cup to pull the area to be treated into an applicator before it is cooled down. 1. How do lasers remove a tattoo?

• Location – The further away from the heart the tattoo is located such as on the hands or feet, the slower the removal of the ink.
• Density – Thick tattoos are slower to remove than shaded tattoo areas that have lower ink density.

5. Can you get a tattoo on the same area of the skin where a tattoo was removed?

Lasers eliminate about 95% of a tattoo.  Once there is sufficient fading away or removal of the tattoo, you can definitely get another tattoo in the same area.

Tattoo inks contain metals like lead, copper, manganese and mercury. These metals make tattoos permanent once injected deep into your skin. Your immune system recognizes these particles as intruders in your body. As a result, it releases white cells to get rid of these particles. Intense Pulsed Light “IPL”

Skin imperfections, especially in pigmentation and skin tone, can be dramatically reduced through Intense Pulsed Light “IPL”. The procedure is non-invasive and involves very little discomfort. Since it deals with issues that are caused by aging and photo damage, it is performed by a light-based device that heats abnormal red and brown pigments and destroys unhealthy blood vessels with thin walls.
